During my tenure, I stabilized departmental operations, implemented a risk based PM program for Medical Devices and oversaw the introduction of a systematic tracking of device related alerts and recalls. Under the direction of the Vice President, Canadian Equities, I participated in the investment-decision making process as a member of the Canadian Equity team by providing ideas through fundamental analysis, macro analysis and management interviews with emphasis on the telecommunications and technology sectors.

As a member of the Metrology department I designed and tested oceanographic instrumentation for use by scientists within BIO. Projects included instrumented winches, low power data loggers, acoustic positioning systems, and the Sea Rover underwater tethered vehicle.
