Ken Gosnell, the principle of KGPS is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, UK. Spanning more than forty years in the food and beverage industry, his career includes many senior and management expatriate appointments. He has held responsible positions in the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and South Africa.A highly motivated manager with broad business acumen and a proven track record of achievements in creative, operational and general management: he has gained experience in analysing business opportunities, strategic planning and problem solving. Project managed green-field developments of manufacturing facilities in harsh environments and streamlined operations for improved productivity. He has developed systems for manufacturing and plant maintenance and executed total quality management, value chain management and JIT inventory control. This broad background, together with specialist knowledge in packaging, has enabled him to become a key contributor, supporting demand creation for a major brewery. His expertise in materials, processes and commercialisation of creative ideas has had a significant impact on improving margins and consumer demand for the product.
