Presently applying my research background to assist BIOPAC Systems customers in configuring, setting up, and utilizing over 900 of BIOPAC's products to conduct life sciences research across many areas. I have worked in numerous positions within a wide array of start-up companies in life sciences area including serving as President and CEO of a Virtual Reality (VR) software company that produced VR based products for use broadly in mental health. Background in Psychology with Masters (M.Ed.) and Doctoral work (ABD) in clinical psychology with undergrad in Management and minor in Economics. I have worked in small and start up businesses my entire career (telephony, OCR, Digital EEG, Virtual Reality, EEG services and Research Equipment). I guided the growth of Virtually Better from a small operation to a thriving company with a variety of outside contractors and a million + in annual revenue. I found collaborators and wrote research and development grants on the use of VR technology in various areas of mental health (SBIR/STTR mechanisms). Written numerous funded grants with NIH entities and one successful DoD grant.Specialties: Sales, marketing, measurement, evaluation, technical writing, grant writing, relationship building, product knowledge, mental health area, start up companies, EEG, Virtual Reality, business management, marketing.Skills writing and administering federal grants with various academic researchers to develop the next generation of tools for clinical practice and research. I have published papers and collaborated with a wide array of researchers and employees in do so. I enjoy the challenge of exploring the unknown.I posses a wide array of business and computer skills. I have ability to act and make decisions quickly.
