Horticulture Degree from Duluth Vo Tech in 1978. Developed Hammarlund nursery into a design and build landscape company. Started with small residential design projects in 77. I became a producer of ornamental plants at the current location at 159 N Cloquet Rd. I was able to supple a majority of the plants used in the landscape department. Landscape jobs include Bayfront Festival Park, Rail Road Street, Mesaba Ave in Duluth as well as multiple projects at the University of Minnesota Duluth and The Lake Superior Aquarium in Duluth MN. I downsized the business in 2007 We dropped commercial landscaping to be a producer and supplier to local Landscape companies and most recently started a Organic method farming operation growing Heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers,hot peppers as well as melons, basil ,beans and more. We are producing Salsa form a family recipe and hot pepper sauce. We are in the early stages of producing a organic fertilizer which will be on the market in 2014.
