Our company is focused on using technology to create an experience that is personalised and curated for each user, while getting rid of industry-old methods.During my time at Devonche, I led a team of 6 while being in charge of operations, developing new methods and systems for our business, and technology development. Being a founder and growing the company to be New Zealand’s largest customwear brand taught me a lot about the different avenues of running a successful company. My key learnings were the resilience and agility required to scale a company, getting the most out of myself and individuals in a team, finding solutions at pace and adapting to the market and customers. In order to move the needle in a startup, a key skill was the ability to prioritise tasks for myself and the team. Over my tenure here, I developed a custom CMS system, an automated online sizing system/framework and a streamlined ordering process for our backend and suppliers.

The team at Core Technology designed and built a portable, cloud connected ventilator in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. This short sprint backed by Sir Stephen Tindall to aid the global ventilator shortage was a deep dive into creating reliable healthcare technology at an affordable cost. My work included computer systems engineering, software, UI and business areas.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is a medical product and service company that is an industry leader in respiratory systems. At FPH I was in the product development team that handled various parts of respiratory devices. My role involved product development, design and testing.

My role at Auckland Live is purely Customer Service based, where I either work bar, usher or ticketing shifts for events at Auckland's Civic Centre, Aotea Centre, Town Hall and Viaduct Event Centre. On this job, we always have to provide top customer service at a fast pace, and also needs a significant amount of team work to run events smoothly.

I am part of UoA's Formula SAE team where I work with fellow engineering students to design and build a race car to compete against Universities across Australasia. In 2015 I was part of the power train team, where we would assemble and maintain the car's engine, as well as make parts by a variety of machining processes for the car. During 2016 I was part of the suspension and cost team, where I helped design and manufacturer suspension parts. Recently I have also been involved with helping the Aero team and their manufacturing jobs.
