At H Ventures, Dr Hutt advises portfolio companies and supports the fund in investment decisions. The fund operates an incubation studio, provides capital, sector expertise and supports management in drawing in the additional capital needed to scale rapidly.Dr Hutt is also a Trustee of the University of St Andrews, Scotland and board member of the University’s American Foundation. Prior, Dr. Hutt was a senior partner at Deloitte LLP and member of the executive leadership team. He led many of the Firm's most complex strategic assignments and oversaw the development of the Firm’s senior client leaders. Dr Hutt worked across Life Sciences and Healthcare, advising the Boards and leadership of Deloitte’s life sciences, consumer and technology clients. Ken’s expertise includes strategy development and execution, building high performing senior teams, including succession, advising on major programs and supporting acquisition/divestitures. Dr Hutt is originally from Scotland and is a physicist by training, receiving his PhD from the University of Cambridge and BSc from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
