Ken is living proof that anyone can alter their diet and transform their life. Having dropped French Cuisine for a yoga mat over 15 years ago, everything in his life changed. He transformed from an alcoholic Chef and butcher by losing 50 pounds, dropping his addictions, and developing a healthy lifestyle one day at a time.As his body healed, he lost 50 pounds, and turned his clock back about 15 years. This is where he found his purpose and passion and began to lay the groundwork of Culinary Health Solutions. He eventually became a Yoga teacher in the same halls that he first visited as an out-of-shape alcoholic. The whole Yoga community witnessed his transformation, and it became an integral part of his holistic teaching style, and he regularly held cooking classes where he shared his new recipes. Requests started coming from people to work one-on-one with Ken, and he helped people apply his philosophies of eating to be happy and healthy. For Ken, a vegetarian diet became what worked best for him, however, he instinctively knew that everyone is different, and worked with his clients maintaining their favorite foods whether they contained meat or not. The fastest route to failure when it comes to diets is force-fitting a solution.​His path led him to create a vegetarian catering company, and joining with his current partners in an ultra-healthy food manufacturing company called graw foods, and now with Culinary Health Solutions where they have developed a scalable system and suite of tools that help people implement healthy lifestyle change. Ken continues to teach cooking classes as an adjunct Chef Professor at the Culinary Institute of Charleston
