This role involves liaison with government at local, state and federal levels and regular interaction with state and national sporting organisations and other representative organisations in the sport and leisure industry such as Parks and Leisure Australia (Victorian Branch).

Consulting to a private group organising a girls under tour to the UK and Singapore in June/July 2011.Currently assisting with future strategy for CWOB and planning for a girls cricket festival in Singapore in July 2012.The Singapore Festival was a great success; in 2013 a tour to Darwin was undertaken where we assisted NT Cricket in promoting the game of cricket in schools including an indigenous school and we conducted the first ever beach cricket activity at Mindle Beach for NT cricket.In May 2014 CWOB was invited to participate in an ICC East Asia Pacific Regional competition against national teams from Japan, Papua New Guinea, The Cook Islands, Vanuatu and Samoa. This was a wonderful experience both on and off the field for the CWOB girls in learning more about various cultures and enjoying some wonderful cricket opportunities on the field.In June we were invited to attend the ICC Annual conference held at the MCG and 4 months later we held a wonderful afternoon skills building session at the same venue assisted by Cricket Victoria and the MCC in the presence of the Queen Mother of Bhutan .What will 2015 bring for CWOB - undoubtedly something special but we still need corporate support if we are to continue the path that we are following and providing some outstanding personal development opportunities for young girls from around Victoria. .2015 saw CWOB taking a group of girls to Fiji to play some matches against the women's national team but also to participate in some community activities in schools and for people with disabilities.Twelve girls from around metropolitan and Country Victoria were involved in the tour under Head Coach Bryce McGain ,former Victorian and Australian player. In 2016 CWOB headed off to the Pacific region again for a tournament in Samoa playing matches against the hosts and PNG and Japan as well as undertaking some community work in local schools and villages.

This is a rewarding mentoring role with students from around the world involved in the Business of Cricket Management course - it is terrific to see so many of the students complete the course and then obtain positions in the cricket and other sports industries.
