Examples of projects undertaken included delivery of processes for Tax Transfer Pricing regulatory compliance and Business Program Manager for implementation of Long Range Planning software for the Corporate Planning group.

• As part of the Commercial Department within Exploration and Production Services (E&PS) management team I am responsible for all aspects of the relationship / engagement between IS and E&PS. This included working collaboratively with the E&PS Business Analysis, IS PMO, VMO and service delivery teams.• Acting as IS Business Partner and Program Manager with dotted line relationship to IS Portfolio Manager. This role was repatriated into IS in March 2016.

• As part of the Commercial Department within Exploration and Production Services manage a team responsible for business analysis, training and purchase requisitions.• Responsibilities include leading and managing staff, providing direction, oversight, strategic planning and financial management.

Working in the Exploration & Production Services group on the Well Lifecycle Management project. Project goal is to reduce time from Rig Release to Tie-in.

Lead a small team of business analysts supporting the Geomatics division. Reported directly to the Sr. VP of Information Technology. Areas of responsibility included performing high level business analysis, leading business analysts, managing projects and working as part of the IT management team. • Conducted business and user needs analysis, requirements documentation, quality assurance, liaising with the business and acting as the IT representative to the business.• Produced business cases, gap analysis, project plans and business requirements documents.• Provided long term business direction for IT’s 5 Year Strategiuc Plan.

Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst working on contract to define the requirements and select a Quality Management solution for Nexen’x Long Lake project

Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst working on contract for EnCana. Primary responsibilities include managing projects from developing business cases, project charters, plans and schedules to execution and close out. Business analysis is also performed on most projects. The sponsors of these projects are generally within the IS department. Projects undertaken included: • Enterprise-wide email encryption tool – this project was approximately 1 year long with a budget of $550,000, • Implementation of a tool for developing on-line, web-based training material for the Finance group. This was a 4 – 5 month project, with a budget of about $200,000.• Performed a review of the IS Budget process and system.• Also worked on a number of smaller package and in-house development projects

Leader of the Financial Systems group. Primary responsibilities include managing the business relationships with the Finance, Treasury, Tax, Risk Management and Gas Business Development business areas, supervising a staff of 11 people, managing the expense budget of approximately $1 million, managing projects and the overall technical environment.
