As the PX Solutions Systems Architect, my responsibilities included supporting our existing client base and new business initiatives in the Healthcare industry. The scope of my responsibilities included the following;Build and develop the framework to migrate data centers. This included planning the migration strategy for the physical (application, ESX, appliances server along with network and SAN switches) and virtual servers. My responsibilities included designing a new rack layout, working with 3rd party vendors, reviewing the plan with application owners in preparation for the cutover, and working with project managers on the cutover schedule.Working with our PX sales team and partner Get Well Networks on creating a scope of work to deploy their InPatient SaaS AWS cloud offering. The InPatient solution provides a digital patient engagement solution for hospitals delivering enhanced patient engagement. I worked with several Hospitals in Canada to prepare, design, and cost the solution.

As a Senior Infrastructure Architect I worked collaboratively with the different Business Units, Infrastructure and Architecture teams, DXC and client Executives and client Architects to successful build and deploy solutions across many industries for existing clients and acquisitions of new businesses.My role included analyzing requirements and providing oversight and architecture recommendation during sales solution on our ability to deliver the scope outlined in the RFP in a cost effective manner. I lead multiple technology towers like security, application, network, database and infrastructure (Cloud, Virtualization, Linux, Wintel, Database) teams to design and deploy solutions for clients locally and globally. I have experience working on the interconnecting between Azure cloud and on-premise infrastructure.As with all projects I deployed, for smaller projects I managed the project schedule and people and for larger projects I provided input to the lead Project Manager (PM) as the technical PM. We jointly developed the project plan schedule and dependency on deployments for the project. I was responsible to obtain and assign technical project resources to their tasks.I completed an assessment for a Managed Files Transfer (MFT) solution British Columbia Government. Once a design was made I coordinated the deployment of the MFT solution . This project included a demo of the solution to government staff and security review to verify that it met data privacy guidelinesMy experience gives me the background to understand the overall scope of a project, consult with other team members, quickly adjust to scope changes and provide my insight and communicate with the broader teams to add cohesiveness to a successful team outcome inspiring a positive work environment.

• As the TnT Technical Lead I was responsible for the integration of the acquired company into an existing client. The scope included new infrastructure deployed, DR deployment and test and data migration for a USA based Insurance Company. Interfaced with Client executives on migration status updates and impact to schedule with design changes.• Greenfield deployments including VMware, SAN\NAS\DAS, Backup, Server infrastructure and application (Active Directory, Anti-Virus, SQL, Citrix) in a high availability configuration. Coordinated with the project build resources to provide oversight and direct on the build• Provided input in the development of the Microsoft Project schedule and on-going updates for the TnT management team.• Supported the transition from the EDS Clegg Road data center shutdown project to the HP Markham and Streetsville data centers.• Provide leadership in directing global project team members to successfully delivery projects. Project recourses were global so my role was to make sure we had a cohesive team that allowed us hand off tasks during local members off hours.• An existing DXC Insurance client purchased a subsidiary of another Insurance company. I had the challenge of using a transport service that met HIPPA requirements to migrate the data from the parent company, restructure into a new file system, worked with client and AD team to reset up permissions and build out a new HA Citrix farm. The deployment I designed and deployment also included setting up a Disaster Recovery (DR) location, creating a recovery plan and running a DR drill.• DXC had an internal Private Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) that they decided to shut down in Canada and my role was to decouple the VPC cloud infrastructure and migrate to our ITO towers and tools. I was engaged to come up with recommendations and execute the plan. I had to coordinate the consolidation of the remaining hardware, remove automation tools and migrate support to the new delivery teams.

• As an Infrastructure Architect I supported multiple accounts at the same time reviewing potential opportunities for improvement to the infrastructure developing solutions for new projects, costing and supporting the deployment of these projects. As an Infrastructure Architect I reviewed other team member’s solutions and provide feedback on design.• I was responsible to back up my manager, assigning projects to other team members and monitoring workload. • I deployed or worked with hardware partners deploying their hardware into the data center, network and software deployment teams (VMWare, Windows, Linux, Database) for clients.• I supporting HP Advanced solutions (HPAS) hosting team supporting the BC Government. As a member of the Infrastructure Engineer team, I work on developing solution overview documents, recommend improvements to existing solutions, propose technology standards, and participate in the development of new service offering HPAS can offer the BC Government.• I was a team member responsible to deploy the infrastructure for an Ontario Ministry of Health initiative to centralized patients records, Smart Systems for Health Agency (SSHA), later known as eHealth. In my role I was responsible to design the MS Exchange and Anti-Virus solution and deploy the hardware across two data centers in a High Availability (HA) configuration supporting Microsoft Exchange, SQL and file\print services.• Support the integration of a Canadian mining company purchased by South American mining company. This included the design and deployment of servers into office across Canada (Port Colborne, Toronto and St. John’s) but also working with the parent company and how we could integrate and leverage what they were deploying in Brazil. My role also included Infrastructure Architect for North America\Europe overseeing all projects.
