It provides a unique opportunity for military service members to successfully transition from military service to a civilian career in a business environment or different industry. It will enable them to complete this degree while continuing to advance in their career. It is designed to leverage the leadership experience already gained during military service. In the spring semester of the first year, students will be immersed in a series of experiential Leadership Development sessions in areas such as self-awareness, resilience, high performing teams, influencing others, and giving and receiving feedback. First year student teams will be paired with second-year MBA Leadership Coaching Fellows to help guide their development. For those MBA students who want to maximize their leadership development during their time at Goizueta, they can apply to become a Delta Air Lines Leadership Coaching Fellow and/or a Goizueta Advanced Leadership Academy Fellow (GALA). During the GALA program, these students take part in in-depth leadership experiences in individual, team, and team leadership contexts. This includes putting their leadership skills to work in mentoring the new first-year class in their Leader Development course and culminates in a Capstone Challenge just for GALA Fellows.
