I am Ken Key, a software engineer with a focus on web, desktop and mobile application development. Software developing is without a doubt an occupation, but there is absolutely no reason it can't be more, and so far, I have found that it has been indeed more for me: it is not just a job, it is also a lifestyle.I've always found innovation to be a particularly therapeutically affair, refreshing and exhilarating at the same time. I've found self growth to be honorable and most rewarding, too. And it is my aim to always find a way to merge both of these phenomena together, and find a way to couple innovation and personal self growth as an avenue to touch lives, propel others towards doing the same, and hopefully make the world a much better place than I met it.All through my journey I have managed to combine all of my past experiences into one big learning experience and it has driven me to become the determined, optimistic, hard working individual that I am today.I believe that as a developer, you're never quite done learning. The world itself is constantly evolving, and if you ever hope to keep up with it - as we must - you also have to evolve with it. I consider everyday a new learning opportunity for me. As both a father and an individual, my aim is to keep learning and enriching the world with whatever fruit of the knowledge I attain in the process.I hope to inspire others just as I was inspired. I hope to motivate others just as I was motivated. And above all, I hope to touch lives and make the task of existence a more pleasant affair thanks to my creations. Some of my favorite phrases to live by are, "Work smarter, not harder", and "impossible is nothing". These, in my humble opinion, are two phrases that are capable of changing a person's mindset and redirecting it from a fatalistic outlook of the world, to a more targeted, problem-solving oriented one. While the second purports that you can indeed achieve anything you put your mind to, with the right mindset, attitude, and investments, the second goes on to provide an actual blueprint as to how exactly these goals can be achieved - through working smarter and scaling wisely rather than meaningless hard work that prioritizes brute force over critical thinking.
