Led multi-disciplinary, cross-organizational development team on project to design and build a digital map database and GIS workstation with embedded expert system and inference engine for automated mobile target search. Analyzed requirements, developed operations concept, selected hardware, developed system architecture, and supervised system development. System was successfully deployed and utilized by U.S. intelligence agency.

Implemented real-time "speaker identification" and "keyword spotting" algorithms in digital signal processors. The system was successfully deployed in support of U.S. gathering of international telecommunications intelligence.

Responsible for design, implementation and optimization of all embedded real-time mathematical functions for the prototype Digital Stereo Comparator Compiler (DSCC). The prototype DSCC was successful and our division was awarded a $100 million follow-on contract to build production versions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
