My professional career has provided me with a wide breadth of experience from an enlisted military career to my civilian career in aerospace and defense. I currently work for Sierra Nevada Corporation as an operations program manager where I lead a diverse team of technical experts in the production, development, and sustainment of cutting edge sensor technology.My military career began in the active duty Air Force as a ground radar systems journeyman and continues as a C-130 Combat Systems Officer. As a civilian I have worked hand in hand with US and foreign partners on some of the military's most high profile programs. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Nevada with a BA in Anthropology in 2009, and also have an AAS in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Most recently I graduated from the Executive MBA program at the University of San Francisco in May of 2022. I am Security + certified, am a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), internally certified through Northrop Grumman Corp as a Control Account Manager, and am working towards completing my Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications. My background is highly diversified, but all the skills I have garnered have primarily focused on leadership, program management, team building, effective communication, and process improvement. I enjoy new challenges and the ability to apply new lessons to complex problems.
