Profile bio

About Ken Marshall

I am a leader in an industry full of change - health care. I do this not because it is easy, but because it’s rewarding. Those in health care carry a great responsibility to serve our communities and create an environment that allows people to live healthy lives. I have held senior executive positions, including President and senior level operations in academic medicine. I remain results focused. I’ve been proudest of accomplishments that involve leading groups that are engaged and passionate about their mission. I have always said, “I am interested in having an experience, not a job." I feel “experiences” are deeper, more passionate and teach us lessons. These lessons and passion lead to personal and professional growth and in turn create value in our work. I have been told one of my strengths is the ability to develop collaborative relationships. First, I try to listen and seek to understand. I also understand that honest communication and transparency build trust. By nature, I am collaborative and believe diversity of thought and experience creates better outcomes. I am inspired by leading teams and seeing them achieve results they thought impossible.Specialties: Executive Leadership|Operational Improvement|Process Improvement|Physician Relationship Development|Healthcare Management|Strategic Planning|Academic Medicine|Hospital Leadership
