Ken has served in the insurance damage restoration service industry for over 45 yrs. Hired initially as a 21 year old auto appraisal adjuster for Allstate Insurance, Long Beach, CA, he was promoted into residential & light commercial property claims. Moving on - he went to work at Prudential Property & Casualty in Woodland Hills, CA as a field property adjuster, eventually promoting into a Field Manager overseeing several adjusters. After that, Ken switched sides and took a position as a construction estimator with an upcoming Orange County construction company in Santa Ana, CA. He then accepted the opportunity to land a job at the fledgling Jerry's Interiors in the late 80s before moving on to open up the contents restoration and floor covering division for Atterholt Construction in Santa Ana, now ACI.He returned to Jerry's Interiors in 1997 where in 2005 he began development of the large loss division for the general contracting wing. In the fall of 2014, Ken took on new duties for the re-branded company - RonDell Restoration, Inc., serving in the capacity in client oversight, new business development, quality control, training, and construction consultations.Ken and his wife Peggy decided to move to Texas in 2019. Career opportunities landed him a position with Liberty Mutual Insurance where he worked as as a Senior Restoration specialist in their water mitigation unit. Alas, the tug of family called them back to California where Ken returned to RonDell. Ken currently serves the company as a trainer, consultant, and senior estimator.Ken and his wife have a blended family with nine adult children and 23 grandchildren! He has served on various boards including church, Little League, high school sports, & neighborhood associations. He has organized and led volunteer church and business-related teams into Mexico to build simple homes for impoverished families in colonias in and around Tecate & Tijuana. Ken & Peggy, a highly talented interior designer and landscaper, restored their 1941 cottage in the historical downtown McKinney district while living in Texas. Ken’s other passions include playing his guitar, listening tonRed Dirt country music, working on projects around the home, pruning, & reading.
