Finalist in Dolan’s Class Project through student’s Saving a Life Adoption. Using NV Academic Content Standards, students used reading and writing skills to help the local community through real-life product created during the project. Effectively teaching students of varied academic/age levels (grades 7-8) and diverse cultural backgrounds through differentiated instruction methods. Instruct classes of as many as 30 students; communicate with teachers, administrators and parents; and build a positive rapport with students. Focus on writing and reading techniques towards the advancement to High school, and to meet state and national mandated standards. Currently working as a Team Lead teacher in charge of a team of core subject educators to develop growth mindset lesson plans for assigned student, tracking administrative data on students assigned to the team, and other leadership tasks involved with daily and monthly operations towards all education activities. Support athletic activities as a school basketball ball coach and directing a school play.I created and implemented our schools annual Color Run Fundraiser, raising over $30,000 in funds towards new technology.I was invited as a guest speaker at UNR for a class management course for students currently in their internship and 21st Century Learning Leaders from teachers across the district on Project-Based Learning and its impact towards classroom management.

Responsible for the command, control, training, administration, operations, logistics, and combat readiness of a 120+-man team during the NV Las Vegas Vigilant Sentinel Exercise over New Years 2012. Responsible for the planning for the unit’s training and the welfare of the company. Coordinated and ensured soldier’s pay in automated systems. Responsible for all administrative duties for the unit while the main element was deployed in Afghanistan. Supervised over 50 soldiers and 2 cadets preparing for officer assignments and responsible for over $500,000 worth of equipment and vehicles.Trained and lead platoon size elements during weekend drill status and field training exercises. Responsible for the welfare and administrative data for the platoon.
