Primarily I provided technical direction to the Software Development, Mining and Medical divisions of Mitrais as well as directing IT Infrastructure Support services ensuring that Mitrais could provide services through its operating divisions. I led the charge into Cloud Computing both within Mitrais and consulting for Mitrais clients.I identified changes required in software development competencies and training opportunities in those areas. I also provided pre-sales technical support in non-mainstream technologies. As well I managed all of Mitrais’ strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Oracle and SAP and has managed to propel Mitrais into the top 1% of the Microsoft partner ecosystem. On the few occasions when projects had less than desirable outcomes I was the primary trouble shooter that investigated causes and provided recommendations to prevent future occurance.In the Medical division, I actively contributed in the Product Steering committee and was responsible for the technology platforms, guiding the implementation of non-functional requirements and guiding the software architects in their respective technologies.For the Mining division, I provided and oversaw technical consulting provided by Mitrais technical consultants and consulted on technology changes in products that this division sells.

As its Production Director, I helped establish the first offshore software development center in Bali as a separate business unit and assisted in spinning it off at the turn of the century as the separate company it is today.I guided the use of the Rational Unified Process for software development and designed and directed the implementation of the Competency Review System at Mitrais based on industry standards such as the Software Engineering and the Project Management Bodies of Knowledge.I was successful in directing the design and implementation of an Enterprise Project Management system to improve resource and project scheduling.

As a Computer Systems Specialist, I developed the Technical Consulting group up to 4 managers and 60 technical consultants. I successfully negotiated outsourcing contracts for Mining clients and software support and development work from Mincom. I also performed a modernization of PTMI’s technical infrastructure and paved the way for the creation of Mitrais.
