I started out with Quick Basic and writing web pages for games at age 9 and developed a mind for logical thinking. I explored the world of electronics as an electronics technician in the Navy. Eventually, I saw an opportunity to improve the environmental impact of Canadian industries by becoming a Chemical Engineer and working the problem from the inside. Now, I am an experienced Process Control Engineer with a Masters of Applied Science in Process Automation and a demonstrated history in the mining and energy industries. I develop new approaches to advanced process control and signal processing to solve complex problems and I have realized significant economic savings to customers by improving mass and energy efficiencies. This work has lead to an overwhelmingly large improvement to the environment through technology.I have designed high impact applications through new approaches to LP/QCQP optimization for multivariable problems that boil down to simple, intuitive, and efficient algorithms capable of running sub-second scan rates in a sophisticated control system such as DeltaV. I am proficient in data analytics using numpy, pandas, matplotlib, and I have basic exposure to C, C#, Keras and TensorFlow. I am an INTP (Myers-Briggs) and D in the DiSC profile. In other words, I have strong ideation skills and I am motivated to solve only the most challenging problems.
Listed skills include Process Control, Deltav, Autocad, Matlab, and 8 others.
