I am a dedicated Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience and have been an integral part of many high-profile projects throughout my career. Most recently, I managed the PDE team involved with the new Advancion 10MW battery storage array installed in AES, Kilroot. This project represents a major step forwards for the UK Energy market and I am extremely excited by the potential this particular project represents.My career with Project Design Engineers started over 19 years ago, progressing through the company from Project Engineer through to my current position of Company Director, with responsibility for the Finance function of the business. Whilst my present position involves various company management duties, I also have a very ‘hands-on’ approach when it comes to supporting and managing our Engineering teams.I relish the challenges that working within the Engineering environment presents, the diversity of our project portfolio means there is certainly never a dull moment.For relaxation and stress-relief, I enjoy keeping active at the Gym, hitting a small ball around eighteen holes (although some people may debate whether I can hit the ball) and heading off on holiday to unwind and recharge the batteries.Specialties:Electrical Engineering, Feed Studies, Automation Engineering, Project Management, Corporate Management & Direction.
