Unit Environmental Intelligence - Team Industrial EmissionsMy job is situated in the BAT-knowledge centre which supports the Flemish Government in collecting and distributing information regarding environmentally- and energy friendly techniques in industrial processes and selects the Best Available Techniques for several sectors.The BAT serve as a reference for the environmental permit conditions of companies, both in Flanders (VLAREM) and in Europe (European Industrial Emissions Directive).

Development of formulations and concepts for new products within bonding, sealing and protection• Managing technical aspects within designated innovation projects• Translation of internal and external needs in product and material characteristics• Support of sales and marketing in collaborations with potential clients• Development of new test methods within existing quality norms• Pursuit towards new technical developments in the domain
