About Ken Montgomery

Kenneth C. Montgomery is a technology, payments, finance and operations executive with more than 40 years of experience. Most recently, he served as the first vice president and chief operating officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He also served as program executive for the FedNow Service – the first new payments rail developed by the Federal Reserve in nearly 50 years, which allows financial institutions across the U.S. to provide instant payment services. He is recognized for his strategic vision, which has been instrumental in driving organizational growth, technological innovation, and operational excellence. Mr. Montgomery’s expertise in overseeing critical initiatives and managing complex programs and operations has earned him a reputation as a trusted leader within the Federal Reserve System and the broader financial industry.
