Bradfield Development Authority is the NSW Government organisation responsible for the delivery of the new Bradfield City Centre and attracting investment to the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.Together these projects are the largest city-building projects in Australia and leverage the $20 billion of investment in the new Western Sydney International Airport, new Sydney Metro West and major road infrastructure upgrades. Bradfield City Centre spans 114 hectares and is the first new city to be built in Australia for over 100 years. It will be a mixed-use city centre with a staged framework to provide 20,000 jobs and 10,000 new homes in a unique walkable parkland city for residents, workers and visitors.Bradfield Development Authority was established as an initiative of the multi-government Western Sydney City Deal.As CEO I am also a member of the Executive Leadership Team of the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

The AMRF works with businesses to accelerate innovation across the manufacturing sector.It is a NSW Government business which operates world-class facilities in the new Bradfield City and specialises in advanced manufacturing - from engineering design and quality testing to digital transformation. It connects businesses with the right equipment, expertise and networks to drive productivity improvements, utilise innovative technology, and propel the development of research and prototypes into commercial products.AMRF launched in 2024, its first facility will open in early 2025 with construction commencing on a second facility in the same year.

Appointed by the NSW Government to Chair the inaugural Board of Metropolitan Memorial Parks, a government social infrastructure and services entity established via the merger of three former organisations. Metropolitan Memorial Parks celebrates life by creating by creating remarkable places to reflect, connect and remember. It is a government business entity which provides interment services to the community within a contested marketplace. It is responsible for over 400 hectares of cemetery space on crown land across eight sites in Sydney and Newcastle, employs around 300 staff, has an annual turnover of $86 million and net assets worth $660 million.Metropolitan Memorial Parks is working closely with the NSW Government on the urgent need to create new burial supply for the community as our existing historic memorial parks approach exhaustion.

Appointed by NSW Lands Minister Steve Kamper MP to lead a governance, organisational and public policy transition before handing over to a new Board. As Administrator I stood in the place of a Board and in the absence of a CEO I also performed these duties.During my term as Administrator we achieved the following substantial outcomes: - merged three entities to create a single new organisation under a new brand - worked with Government to provide the organisation with a refreshed strategic mandate - provided Government with a comprehensive review of existing cemetery exhaustion horizons and recommended a roadmap of short- and long-term actions to address Sydney's chronic shortage of cemetery space, a blueprint which has overwhelmingly been adopted by Government - confirmed that the organisation's perpetual maintenance obligations are in fact fully funded by our investment funds - adopted modern risk, compliance and probity frameworks, addressing key weaknesses identified in an earlier Independent Governance Health Check - reset working relationships with key partners across government and established strong stakeholder relations with key groups vital for the organisation's future success - supported the process for appointing the inaugural Board - commenced a CEO search process, timed such that the new Board would make the final appointment decision - strengthened and streamlined our Executive team - introduced more contemporary governance processes and professionalised management decision making - created a transition business plan and ensured its implementation.

Appointed by NSW Lands Minister Steve Kamper MP to fulfil the role of a Board for this statutory land manager and to advise him on the most appropriate future governance arrangements for the Rookwood Necropolis, recommendations which were subsequently adopted by the Government.The RNLM was established in 1867 to manage the common infrastructure, operate the shared services and undertake overall planning for the historic Rookwood Necropolis, one of the largest cemeteries in the world.

The Property Council of Australia is the national representative of Australia’s property industry and one of the country’s most respected business groups. It has 2400 corporate members, 12 divisions, 120 staff across ten offices, 2800 volunteers across its industry committees and a revenue base of $39 million. I reported to a National President and a large and senior Board, along with multiple other accountabilities to internal member governance forums. Key achievements:• Positioned the Property Council as one of the most influential business groups in Australia.• Reset the organisation with fresh vision, a transformed culture and strengthened capabilities after taking over from a CEO of 23 years’ tenure.• Led the organisation through the acute disruption of COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns and a highly successful recovery of our people, culture, operations and finances. • Partnered with governments to achieve major policy outcomes in housing, taxation, sustainability and cities.• Invested in public policy thought leadership.• Delivered a 50% increase in total revenues from 2014, including a full recovery from the impacts of the pandemic.• Created significant momentum for greater gender diversity across the property industry, including through the establishment of the Property Champions of Change CEO leadership group.• Achieved a tenfold increase in our media footprint and regularly appeared on TV, radio and print media. • Created and sustained a strong productive staff culture – recognition as an Inclusive Employer in 2022 by the Diversity Council of Australia, received a Cultural Transformation Award in 2017 and a Cultural Sustainability Award in 2019 from Human Synergistics; and delivered a +19 shift in measured staff engagement levels within two years.• Strengthened our customer satisfaction levels – increased our membership net promoter score to +19 in 2020 and achieved record membership outcomes in each of the past three years.

In 2015 the Property Council partnered with Elizabeth Broderick AO's Champions of Change Coalition to establish the Property Champions of Change - a group of leading property industry CEOs committed to championing gender diversity within the property industry. I was the co-founder and an inaugural member.

ABEC is the peak body of organisations committed to a sustainable, productive and resilient built environment in Australia. In addition to serving on the ASBEC Board, I chaired ASBEC's Emissions Reduction Task Group which produced a number of key research reports including Low Carbon High Performance (2016), Every Building Counts (2019) and Unlocking the Pathway: Why Electrification is the Key to Net Zero Buildings (2022).

TTF is a CEO forum and peak national body for the top 200 organisations in the tourism, aviation and transport sectors. I reported to a Chair and Board and was responsible for 14 staff and a $9 million revenue base.Key achievements:• Reframed tourism’s advocacy positioning to being an economic development strategy for Australia.• Overhauled TTF’s public policies to reinforce our central positioning.• Established a pipeline of public policy research to underpin TTF advocacy.• Strengthened TTF’s industry-based policy panels.• Restructured the staff team to strengthen focus on tourism advocacy and lower corporate overhead costs.• Re-orientated membership strategy to one focused on retention, replacing the previous primary focus on attraction.• Began re-engineering TTF’s membership structure, events and business operations to a more profitable footing.

Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for implementing corporate strategy, growing our national business operations, driving innovation through the organisation and our people and IT corporate support functions. In 2012 I also assumed responsibility for some key national advocacy areas. Key achievements:• Led the development of our five-year corporate strategy to double our advocacy resourcing, expand into new sectors and grow our service offering.• Led the successful corporate acquisition of the Retirement Village Association and the establishment of the Retirement Living Council to bring this sector into the Property Council.• Reset and reengineered key national businesses including: o Overhauled the conference business to focus on higher value, higher yielding conferences. o Refreshed the national awards program to strengthen brand positioning and revenues. o Relaunched the professional development business as the Property Council Academy with a truly national focus and enhanced quality. o Outsourced the Property Australia magazine and e-zine to turn around its financial performance and improve quality.• Overhauled people and culture strategies which significantly improved staff engagement and halved staff turnover.• Launched numerous new initiatives, including an Australian Property Hall of Fame and the organisation’s first social media campaign, Make My City Work.

Reporting to the CEO and NSW President, I was responsible for all policy development, advocacy, public messaging, member engagement, member services and staff in NSW.Key achievements:• Transformed the Property Council into one of the state’s most respected non-government organisations.• Achieved major public policy change on substantive issues through alliance strategies, including: o the abolition of vendor stamp duty just 18 months after its introduction o convincing then Premier Bob Carr to develop a Metro Strategy for Sydney o the legislation of major planning reforms in 2007.• Led the development of comprehensive public policy positions on a wide range of economic, planning, infrastructure, sustainability, regulatory and governance reform areas.• Achieved a step change in the Property Council’s public profile, including a five-fold increase in our media presence.• Doubled revenues from state-based trading activities within five years.• Managed the division through the global financial crisis while delivering a 60% increase in our financial surplus to the organisation.• Launched a new Illawarra Chapter and reset the Hunter Chapter from a simple voluntary operation to a strong, professional and effective advocate.Role responsibilities:- developing public policy positions on behalf of the industry and advocating these to NSW policy makers- all public affairs, government relations and media relations in NSW- the growth and delivery of our $4 million business operations in NSW (membership, sponsorship, seminars and networking events)- the management of 14 staff and 160 member volunteers across a dozen industry committees- member of our EXCO which develops and directs our national advocacy and business strategies.

Part time secondment to assist the GBCA Executive Director establish and launch the organisation. The GBCA is a not-for-profit organisation committed to developing a sustainable property industry in Australia by encouraging the adoption of green building practices. It is part of an international network of green building councils.
