Retired from Marsh Inc.2015 — Managing PartnerCincinnati, OhioI have enjoyed the last 27 years, committed to building on the legacy of the Marsh brand that was afforded to me when I walked in the door in 1988.There are so many memories of the people, creative assignments, and clients that have passed through these doors. Not knowing for sure what the future would bring, year after year we would give it the same dedication and passion to continue on – and we continued to be successful.The last four years I have split my time between Cincinnati, Ohio and Austin, Texas in order to be closer to my children and grandchildren. While it was difficult at times, I made the sacrifice in order to be responsible to the things that mean the most to me; my Marsh Family and my wife and children.So now I will be devoting my full time to living in Austin. This is a decision that I came to after much thought and consideration. Everyone has worked so hard to make Marsh the brand it is today, I am so appreciative of that and I look forward to seeing this legacy continue beyond it’s 100th Anniversary.I also look forward to this next chapter of my life where I can also devote creative time to my art, music and food. Ken Neiheisel is Managing Partner / Owner at Marsh Brand Partners, an independent design agency concentrating on strategic design for consumer-packaged goods, retail and restaurant clients. With nearly three decades of strategic design experience in identity, graphic and package design for large corporate clients, Neiheisel spent twenty-years as Chief Creative Officer for Marsh, and was responsible for visually elevating some of the world’s most recognized food and consumer packaged goods brands. Today, Neiheisel brings a holistic approach to his work, drawing from his passion for art, food, sustainable design practices and consumer trends to develop innovative approaches for Marsh’s client and community work. Most recently playing an integral part in the positioning and development of the branding for The Eighth Street Design District in Cincinnati, Ohio Together, the businesses of the 8th Street Design District form a dynamic collection of people with an incredible range of talent.. By sharing their strengths and skills, they will grow individually and as businesses, becoming well-known resources for education and collaborative design. Being a place of knowledge, creative energy and physical inspiration this unique downtown sector will compliment the Central Business district, aiding Cincinnati in becoming a destination to live, work and play.Ken has served on several art organization boards during his career and as President of the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati. He is also an involved member of local art clubs, as a photography and design judge for a wide variety of local art exhibits. Neiheisel is on the advisory board of AIC College of Design where he has also been a commencement speaker.
