The Director of Bon Secours Information Services (IS) Architecture is responsible for both the strategic direction and the ongoing leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel activities for Bon Secours IS Services. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the Bon Secours Enterprise IS goals and objectives, while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Bon Secours Health System. The range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, including developing the infrastructure directors and their management of day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues, and direct reports to coordinate the activities of Bon Secours Health System IS across the enterprise.The Director, in collaboration with other key IS decision makers, develops and maintains the Bon Secours Health System IS technology infrastructure strategic plan, policy creation, environment, procedures and practices of the organization. The Director also establishes the maturity strategy and best practices for managing this underlying IT infrastructure. The Director provides the technology vision, enables innovation, and understands IT infrastructure trends that can create business value. This infrastructure comprises the computers, servers, computer peripherals, networks, telecommunication systems, Internet connectivity, and data centers, as well as the IS project management team, centralized desktop services, disaster recovery program manager, and the enterprise IS architect team. The Director serves as the programmatic and operational leader for IS Technology and is responsible to the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer and works closely with Bon Secours executives, leaders and employees.

Responsibilities included project management, supervisory of staff, pre and post sales technical support for HP server, backup, and SAN products, performance appraisals, hiring of staff, inventory management, contract administration, and SLA performance reporting.
