During the time with Pfizer I was a plant QA chemist based in the OSP3 plant at the Ringaskiddy site. My duties included the approval of deviations, CAPA's, change controls, batch release, performing walk downs of plant and offload rooms. Working closely with a process centric team for start-up and batch manufacture activities, participation in plant and department tier meetings.

I worked as a laboratory technician in the chemistry laboratory performing various wet chemistry analysis on food products for commercial clients. Also performed various analysis as a technician in the environmental laboratory.Technical officer tasked with the review and reporting of testing for off the shelf products for a large supermarket retailer. Ensured compliance of compositional analysis and packaging requirements as per FSAI and EFSA legislation.

Laboratory technician in the environmental laboratory. Samples were manually collected daily across both company sites located in Mitchelstown whereby samples were subsequently tested to ensure compliance with EPA standards. Various wet chemistry techniques were employed to perform analysis on samples in additon to the monitoring of internal flows withing the plants.
