Set up and ran the first e-Commerce department at the start of the internet boom. Due to the nature of this undertaking I had close liaison with the CEO and all the senior executives in order to effectively implement the significant business and cultural change. I introduced an number of innovative solutions recognised by two 'innovator of the year' awards by the Mortgage Finance Gazette.Implemented a corporate intranet involving a complete review of how business practices were documented and the most appropriate methods of internal communication.Facilitated and managed the development and introduction of a number of sophisticated online applications, B2C and B2B and white labelled products all delivered through a number of websites. Implemented management information systems to record web site activity and sales performance.Developed business plans and sales strategies closely integrated with other service departments especially sales teams and the contact centre which I ran for a number of months.

Recruited trained and developed the first product team within the Cheshire. Implemented all the necessary systems, procedures and management information which significantly improved strategic decision making.Liaised closely with Treasury and Finance departments to formulate new and innovative complex products using derivatives.Responsible for compliance with the Banking Code, implemented the Mortgage Code into the organisation and was responsible for the successful integration into the sales process.Worked closely with the I.T. department to ensure rapid and successful product launches.
