I have been involved in the entertainment industry since age six.I started acting on stage. Age 15 other areas of production, sound (live and studio) lighting, concerts, large public events, as crew member, crew supervisor, Production Management and Producer role. While attending public school at Steveston Senior Secondary School I was a large part of the drama department for stage craft, lighting, and sound. I worked on several productions as well received Stage Craft of The Year Award. I also Produced a local Cable TV show ‘Kaleidoscope’ with my school and a local Richmond community cable station. At age 15 attended Butter Tree School of Sound Engineering and was noted as the youngest studio sound producer in the Vancouver area.For 21 years, (Volunteer 1978 to 1999) as Board Member, First Vice President and Vice President operations for The Steveston Community Society and Community Center. Developed and produced several events thru the years July 1st Canada Day Steveston Salmon Festival Producing the Canada Day Parade assisting on the festival grounds communicating and working with vendors I also Produced several other Cultural events thru the years with SCS2005 Pre Post Production Manager Slam City Jam World Pro Skateboarding Panther Management Stagehand on several Productions and Event1979 Produced Live Music Event for the BC Heart Foundation: Benefit concert Scott Shipley Foundation1993 1995Produced Snow board Canada events at Manning Park and Hemlock Valley resorts.Location Management on several large and medium-scale film productionsGrand Prairie, Alberta: Dresser Atlas tested Drill holes for mineral content.BC Packers Clover Leaf Fish Processing plant Steveston, BC Journey Men Millwright.As a Department Head,Production Manager or Crew Manager my duties included hiring individuals for departments, rental of equipment required for events and shows.The purchasing of supplies for departments, assisting with the operations of each department directly or via department heads. Other duties included negotiating contracts for location facility contracts and other contracts for events and permits where and when required Management of film locations sets transportation requirements for parking and equipment placements and other facilities as required have also trained staff for several productions events and provided educational needs other duties have included budgets organized repairs of equipment and over see these were completed and operating safely
