I head Grant Thornton's Fiscal (Tax) and UK Regional Valuations practice and have 31 years' experience of valuations for tax and commercial purposes, including in HMRC's Shares & Assets Valuation office.I advise public companies and private sector clients across a wide range of business activities and for a range of valuation purposes, including employee share incentives, share buy-backs, reorganisations and restructurings, shareholder issues, inheritance tax and capital gains tax and company internal markets for buying and selling shares.My clients range from small company entrepreneurs to large listed (full market and AIM) entities based nationwide, in Europe and North America and include companies with international operations.I am an active member of HMRC's Fiscal Forum.
