Start-up Operation. Responsible for the installation of all the production equipment and auxiliary services. The facility was transitioned from California to Mississippi consisting of 40 injecting molding presses. Direct reports are manned at 14 personnel, covering a 24/7 operation.● Installation of 39 presses ranging from 110 ton to 720 ton. Press brands include Husky, Toshiba, JSW, Toyo. This includes all utilities associated for the running of the presses.● Designed the electric and plumbing for the presses to facilitate improved functionality.● Hiring and training new personnel in the maintenance and preventative maintenance of the machinery.● Authored, designed, and implemented an extensive preventative maintenance program. ● Currently in the process of implementing an extensive spare parts room from the ground up. ● Installation of two new Toyo presses covering all aspects from rigging to transfer to the production department. ● Numerous projects from conveyor installations for production packing, operator set-up, crane installations.● Re-vamped the LOTO program, installation of all new system per OSHA guidelines. ● Implemented a 5s program within the maintenance department prior to company installation and was used as the example for the rest of the site. ● Member of the plant safety team. This site has gone over two years without a loss time accident. ● Involved with the company cost reduction program and sustainability. ● Proficient in IQMS for tracking maintenance downtime and SAP for parts ordering and tracking.

Responsible for the maintenance and facilities of the entire plant. Total direct reports included 6 mechanics, 2 electricians, 1 fabricator, and two machinists. ● Re-structured the Preventative Maintenance Program to facilitate better tracking and scheduling. ● In the process of updating all the spare parts and installing a parts system for tracking.● Technical assistance on the floor and training of personnel within the maintenance department.● Responsible for the Lock-Out/Tag-Out training for the entire facility.● Overall responsible for Contractor Safety, Hazardous Communication, Lifting Systems & Cranes, Mechanical Power Press, Electrical Safety Program, and Management of Change.● Team leader for numerous 5S events to include training maintenance personnel in 5S procedures.● Numerous projects to update old equipment or spec out new equipment. ● Upgrade of the building to include office spaces and roof replacement.● Layout and installation of new warehouse racking.● Responsible for all aspects of the building maintenance to include the sprinkler and security system.

Responsible for all aspects of maintenance within the printing department. This includes 10 gravure printing presses, one flexography press, multiple slitters/rewinders, three boilers, air compressors, and various other auxiliary equipment.● Responsible for the acquisition, installation and the electrical upgrade of a used printing press. This was a one-million-dollar project which was completed under budget and time.● Responsible for a 1.2-million-dollar upgrade to the printing presses to facilitate increased production.● Developed an extensive spare parts system for the department and working with vendors to support the current and future needs. This also included outside machining and fabrication companies.● Upgraded the Alar Wastewater system to facilitate consistent test results to stay within the federal and state guidelines for waste disposal. Developed an SOP for the operators to facilitate the correct operation of the equipment.● Responsible for all aspects of the engineering, to include equipment evaluations, installations, and upgrades. This also includes operational studies to improve performance of existing equipment and to reduce the downtime. ● Managing all aspects of the printing maintenance budget and assist the production manager with his.● Coordinating with outside vendors in all areas of maintenance and production supplies.● Training of numerous electronics technicians, mechanics, and associates operating the equipment.
