Ken Rice is Director of System Process Improvements, Sentara Healthcare, Norfolk, Virginia. Ken is responsible for implementing major change initiatives, both improvement and redesign, across the health system. He oversees and coordinates the efforts of 15 Process Improvement Engineers who work on clinical and operational initiatives across Sentara Healthcare. He was responsible for Sentara’s eCare process redesign and benefits realization efforts and results. Ken has been with Sentara since 1990, and in his current role since 1995.
