As owner/director, I worked with many school districts to provide supplemental academic enrichment & increase academic standards. Our tutors worked with private students, one to one, either in the comfort of the student's home or at a public location. Our tutors worked with All grades, All subjects, and All ages. As a result of our system, tutors created academic breakthroughs and students developed confidence and renewed belief in themselves. We also participated in ESEA, a national program, ie. No Child Left Behind from 2005 until 2011. We tutored more than 1000 students around the state. Our tutors worked one to one with each and every student. As reported in 2006 by the Research, Evaluation, Assessment and Accountability department at Minneapolis Public Schools, our methods were recognized and acknowledged as one of the few tutoring companies getting measurable results. We offered academic testing, a custom designed syllabus for each student and study skills training. Along with managing the business side of Club Z!, my responsibilities included overseeing our educational consultants. They met with parents, school administrators, and consulted with school counselors. I too met with administrators and school counselors. My responsibility included meeting with parents and students to do an in-home evaluation. We took into consideration each student's current circumstances and used this information to match the student with the perfect tutor, which we were very successful at. I also did the marketing, interviewed prospective tutors and was involved in program development.
