The Ken Saunders Gallery has exhibition programs that support student artists, new and underexposed artists and the very best artists in the world working in glass. I am creating a library of video interviews with the artists as well as a library of catalogues documenting over 100 exhibitions mounted at the gallery available for free on the Gallery’s website. The Gallery and Neon and Light Museum’s websites are exciting and educational.The Neon and Light Museum was my response to the question of how to stay connected to community and how to create meaningful engagements. Immersive made sense because we all needed a little help re-calibrating. The demographics of our visitors reflected very closely the demographics of our city. I worked hard to develop an inviting and inclusive advertising and outreach program designed to benefit young people, school groups and clubs.The feature length documentary, One Wall: Kings of Coney Island, which I produced takes a loving look at a swiftly vanishing sub-culture on Brooklyn’s oceanside. I’m excited about the prospect of bringing that loving touch to the city I raised my kids in. I have many specialties and a deep knowledge of Art and Music History that I have been proud to share as an adjunct lecturer at Columbia College and Northwestern University.
