As part of the senior management team reporting to the President, I managed RedMane’s Key Channel relationships and the Commercial Sector business division. Established in 2000, RedMane breeds business success — developing social enterprise applications for humanitarian efforts -- tailored to specific needs in government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. Our consultants develop, integrate, and extend systems to do more than just shake hands with existing ones. They embrace, rejuvenate, and work with them to meet business goals and improve business efficiencies. Our portfolio of modernization work includes everything from updating user interfaces to the development of portals that incorporate business intelligence thinking in their design.

As VP of Business Development & Operations, I was responsible for all service operations, public relations, business strategic planning development and sales for our clients. I oversaw the hand off between the sales team and operations team as well as directly oversee all sales to our K-12, Higher Education and Education industry development clients. I managed a staff of 35 individuals and vendors used in operations/services. Company sales consist of SAS enterprise business analytic software solutions and services in areas such as statistical analysis, data mining, data integration, BI Portals, technical needs analysis, technical personnel resources, Cloud Computing (via Amazon Web Services), SAS consulting services as well as Pinnacle Solutions’ proprietary products and services (Pinnacle Backpack Solution Kit). When I started working at Pinnacle Solutions the company had less than 10 clients, today Pinnacle Solutions has over 350 clients throughout the United States. I oversaw the re-branding of the company logo and imagine as well as created the names and brands for Pinnacle Solutions' products and services.

As VP of Operations and Product Development, I supervised all product development, product operations, and web-resources. I led a team of eighteen individuals to transform a clinical cognitive based paper product to an interactive rich client based game. Transformation included creation of animation concepts, IT infrastructure, and processes for operational support. The design and concept earned a patent in 2008 (US 2008/0003553 A1) to which I am named a co-inventor. Directed the development of the company internal operational engine for a company web presence, which included E-commerce, direct marketing, public relations, technical and sales call center. Duties also included negotiating and preparing contracts for all vendor resources as well as assisting sales department with presentations and conferences.

As Director of the Indiana Web Academy, I managed the day-to-day operations, which included financial, marketing, public relations, sales and development activities. Supervised a staff of 25 individuals to develop and sell Internet products to government entities, non-profit corporations and schools. Indiana Web Academy serviced over 1,200 schools with 75,000 subscribers to their e-products. IWA’s noteworthy products that received national awards included E-locker, EzWebsite, and E-Store. I worked in Indiana with the Department of Education, Commission for Higher Education and the Education Roundtable to define the role of technology in education in Indiana schools. I teamed up with fellow educators and state legislators to define the effective use of technology in the Indiana’s P-16 plan for student improvement. I collaborated with renowned author David Loertscher analyzing technology strategies in the book Reinventing Indiana’s School Library Media Programs in the Age of Technology: A Handbook for Principals and Superintendents.
