Pre-production: I take the information provided by the client and build an initial estimate for equipment and labor for the sales team so they can build a quote to send back to the client. I also do the load calculations to ensure that the overall rig is within the specs for the building and equipment being used.On show site: I do floor layout and oversee the installation of the rig by the crew. This includes the hanging of motors, wrapping and floating of truss as well as the attaching of A/V equipment and scenic elements to truss and/or motors.I am also filling in as the lead rigger at the San Diego Convention Center. Here I take the information from the rigging coordinator and plan out the installation of the rigging, prep the equipment to be used and oversee the crew doing the rigging install.

I am responsible for setting up events and for the operation of the house sound system of the San Diego Convention Center.

I am currently the Audio Department head for the San Diego Branch operation for PSAV and the audio engineer for our production team. I also do video switching, some projection, rigging and the occasional project manager or technical director role.
