Broad knowledge of Landscape Architecture gained from work experience in a range of professional settings. I am a graduate from Michigan State University with a bachelor in Landscape Architecture and have professional licensure in the states of Maryland and Virginia. I began my professional career working in multi-disciplinary firms working on various land planning and development projects. I gained valuable skills while working at Ben Dyer Associates and Land Planning and Design Group. While working at these companies I routinely provided land planning and site analysis studies, prepared landscape plans, site plans, forest stand delineation / forest conservation plans and construction specifications. However, after a brief taste of the residential design/build industry while working at Spring Gardens I knew I had found my career niche. Soon after I ventured out on my own and formed Wagester Design Group, a consulting Landscape Architecture firm. Eventually, Wagester Design Group and Poole’s Stone and Garden merged and I became a business partner at Poole’s Stone & Garden Landscape Architecture and Construction. The time spent working alongside the talented designers and artisans at Poole’s Stone & Garden and Clearwater Landscape left a profound impact on my personal design style and even though the companies are no longer connected I still consider those experiences valuable to my professional journey. I take great pride in developing well thought out landscape plans that meet a client’s individual needs. I offer clients a creative design skill backed by an understanding of various construction techniques and their associated cost. Combined, I can develop a comprehensive design that satisfies your project goals and stays within budget. Although everyone wants something different out of their outdoors, your dreams and visions can only be achieved through proper design.
