As Director of Tennis (Racquet Sports) at the Nantucket Yacht Club, I direct all facets of the racquet programming for approximately 900+ members and implement the business strategy to drive revenue growth for the division. Developing racquet sports programming in collaboration with my team, steering operational and process improvements, driving sales, and serving as ambassador to promote special events for club members are all part of my repertoire.My intercollegiate athletic experience playing tennis for an NCAA Division I university set the foundation for my career. I was inspired to transition my passion for tennis into sports administration. Later, I pursued program administration as a result of working at multiple country clubs, where I learned all about event and program management, as well as membership and revenue-growth strategies. Those experiences fueled my desire to pursue a career in sports management. Armed with the discipline and determination gained from competing in athletics, I delivered both a superior guest experience and optimized revenues at the Greenwich Country Club and the Nantucket Yacht Club by strengthening program management, employee performance, and member satisfaction. From turning around stagnant racquet programs to spearheading strategy and growth initiatives, I enjoy working cross-functionally and behind the scenes to ensure sustainable business success.
