After 5 years with the firm I stepped down as Non Exec. Chairman of Clearwater International in the UK and agreed to continue my connection to the firm by acting as a Senior Advisor.Clearwater International is a leading independent mid-market corporate finance house, operating in 15 countries with a team of over 200 professionals.Until June 20 I was a Non Exec at Endless backed EVO Group with responsibility for M&A. EVO Group is the largest multi-channel distributor of business supplies and services in the UK and Ireland. The Group was formed in 2014 on the merger of Vasanta and o2o.Until Dec. 19 I was Non Exec Chairman of EDAM, a group of companies focused on delivering a comprehensive range of post-accident services, including outsourced claims management, replacement vehicles, repair management and legal services that assist the clients of business partners in the insurance, automotive and claims sectors. Until Feb. 18 I was Non Exec. Chairman of DW3, a highly profitable residential doors and windows products business with revenues of £55m, and successfully exited that role on sale to NYSE-listed Masonite in a £70m deal which delivered 3.5X returns for investors, NorthEdge Capital.In the period from 2013 to 2016 I undertook two full-time interim Board appointments (Air Energy and Montagu Private Equity), in both cases leading the company team in undertaking large, complex transactions and related project activity, both cross-border involving PE sponsors.Prior to 2013 I spent 17 years as a Corporate Finance Partner with EY in Manchester & London.

Within the business, I led on financial reporting & systems, treasury, regulatory capital as well as recruitment of a permanent finance team. I handed over full-time responsibilities in August 2014, supporting as a consultant until completion of the project.In February 2015 the new business, Equatex, was granted a securities dealer licence by the Swiss regulator and Montagu completed the buyout.
