Ken Witte is a Doctor of Pharmacy and clinical associate professor emeritus. He was Director of Hospital and Ambulatory Care pharmacies at University of Illinois. There, Dr. Witte also taught medical, nursing, and pharmacy students the latest pharmacological approaches to the treatment of disease. Also, he was involved with the Functional Food for Health Program at the University of Illinois sponsored by the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, and the College of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences. He is scientific advisor to wellness and health companies and to the State of Illinois in the development of overall patient wellness regimens. Dr. Witte’s integrated approach focuses on connecting the dots for consumers by integrating functional foods and nutritional supplements with their prescription medications usage patterns to improve their various health issues. President of CPC, Inc and Scientific advisor to HealthSmart Rx and Dynamic WellnessDr. Witte teaches at the College of DuPage professional level (Nurse, pharmacists, etc.)continuing education courses on the latest advances in various pharmacology approaches and the use supplements, function foods. He provides health and wellness lectures on “How Stay Well, Live Longer series for Adult Enrichment students and Lifelong Learners. He uses a functional medicine approach to health and wellness by connecting eating healthy, exercising, taking supplements and the wise use of prescription medication as well as mind/body approach based on the individuals and their present environment.
