Manufacturing Readiness• Lead capture of customer requirements and translate requirements into a manufacturing solution.• Determination of BOM structure, BOM levels, and build-through strategies as needed.• Manufacturing readiness of assigned customer product using the PPQP process.• Lead the creation of the Product FMEA, development, execution and maintenance of the Product Control Plan.• Define route, product ABI's and tooling strategiesTechnical Customer Support• Serve as the technical expert on Plexus site manufacturing as it relates to the customer’s product.• First to response and actions to address customer technical inquiries and concerns.• Design for manufacturability discussions with the customer to improve manufacturability, profitability, quality, throughput, and resolve documentation errors.• Assist the customer in resolving problems and coordinate for relevant SME support as required.Continuous Improvement• Conduct continuous improvement efforts at the product level to reduce defects, improve yields, and improve productivity in order to deliver customer excellence and achieve Plexus’ enduring goals.• Analysis of product metric data to assess efficiency and effectiveness.• Support the following: identify root causes of failures and sub-standard performance, and improve efficiency of customer product, development of short- and long-term action plans to remedy root causes and improve efficiency.• Lead actions required and execution of short- and long-term action plans for CAPA.Operations support• Provide routine technical support and expertise to manufacturing personnel pertaining to customer product.• Answer technical questions and provide clarification regarding product specifications.• Real-time analysis and resolution of customer/product related problems; develop a recovery plan to resume production as quickly as possible.• Lead rework versus scrap decisions, as needed by operations; lead scrap disposition determination.

To ensure radiation safety among employees of Acbel Polytech Philippines Incorporated the Radiation Protection Officer shall:· Obtain eligibility as Radiation Protection Officer by attending seminar and passed the examination facilitated by Philippine Nuclear Research Institute in cooperation with Department of Health/Food Drug Administration, Center for Device Regulation Facility. · Obtain and maintain knowledge of the principles and practices of radiation protection and of the potential radiation hazards associated with industrial radiography equipment sufficient to undertake measurements, investigations and assessments. · Ensures that during any installation, maintenance and repair, removal; or relocation of the industrial radiography equipment wherein the radiation safety officer has responsibility regarding radiation safety among employees engaged to irradiation must be furnished with appropriate radiation monitoring devices which include personal monitoring devices and a survey meter.· The Radiation Protection Officer shall be familiar with the relevant statutory or legal requirements regarding industrial radiography equipment.· Shall be familiar with the provisions of the code of practice for the safe use of industrial radiography equipment.· Shall obtain knowledge on the latest models for radiation monitoring and protective equipment in use to meet requirements.· Be familiar with the process flow and equipment specification of any industrial radiography equipment I which he has a responsibility for radiation protection.· Be familiar with the work instructions and emergency procedures approved for use in accordance with this code, and participate in the development and revision of these rules.· Train and instruct the operators and assistants of industrial x-ray units, as necessary in the safe use of the equipment and in appropriate radiation safety practices.

· Conducts DFM/FMEA analysis on all product and process parameters.· Generates manufacturing plans for new and products.· Develops process layout design· Spearheads new products prototype, engineering, and certification production runs.· Identifies benchmark new and world class technologies· Conducts product/process/equipment/component qualification activities.· Conducts process optimization activities through the use of statistical tools and methods (DFM, FMEA, SPC, DOE, Taguchi methods, Six-sigma, TCM, etc).· Establishes efficient, user friendly and cost-effective manufacturing methods and/or processes.· Implements total control methodology on critical processes to attain Six-Sigma process capability.· Defines implements and support tooling and equipment required in accomplishing the operations. This shall include capacity, capability and cost analysis, ordering, setting up, debugging and support of tools/equipment. The tooling equipment requirement as defined here shall include all manufacturing equipment (AI, SMT, Soldering, Hand Tolls, etc.), the operational procedures, Process Controls (TCM) and user training programs.· Set work measurement and Quality standards for products/process assigned with end-goal of establishing six-sigma processes.· Develop and analyze product and/or process cost to attain optimum operational cost effectiveness. Perform make buy analysis as required.· Devise the optimum arrangement of equipment, operations and facilities within the plant.· Provide technical support to the manufacturing floor. This shall include, but is not limited to, investigating and assisting in the resolution of quality and productivity problems as they relate to the process and/or the engineering documents.· Conduct technology research to prepare for new product technology, benchmark on effective practices and processes to address quality, flexibility/delivery and cost.
