SailWind Pictures is the motion picture production entity of film producer, Ken Beale, creating original content, faith-and-family programming that gives audiences a positive worldview.With more than 30 years of experience, Ken Beale is a seasoned, independent film producer based in Franklin, Tennessee (Nashville). He co-produced "The Shift" with Kristoffer Polaha, Neal McDonough and Sean Astin (Angel Studios) serving alongside lead producer, Ken Carpenter, and writer/director Brock Heasley. He also has several other projects currently in development. Beale wrote, produced and directed "The Sereer," a feature-length documentary film that explores the culture, the lifestyles and the belief systems of the people of the Sereer tribe in Senegal, West Africa. The film has been honored with 30+ film industry awards, most notably the "Best Picture" award from the prestigious Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards (LAIFFA). Beale also co-produced "The World We Make" starring Rose Reid (Universal Pictures, NETFLIX), "A Welcome Home Christmas" with Jana Kramer, and "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story" starring Heather Locklear (Lifetime Television). He also produced "Crossing South" a feature documentary that explores the inspirations and motivations of five accomplished artists in the American South. The film earned international acclaim at premiere film festivals in Cannes, Paris, Naples and Los Angeles.In 2016 he produced "Leo Twiggs: Requiem for Mother Emanuel," a short film that showcases batik artist, Leo Twiggs and his nine paintings commemorating the first anniversary of the massacre at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC as well as the response of overwhelming forgiveness by the church and the victims' families in the aftermath of the attack.
