As a clinical therapist, I provide trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and counseling to individuals and groups who have experienced various forms of trauma, such as abuse, violence, or loss. I have a master's degree in social work from Texas State University and a bachelor's degree in fine arts from The University of Texas at Austin. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist, working with diverse populations and settings, including Aetna/CVS, where I was a therapist for 8 years until October, 2023. I have developed and honed my skills using various counseling techniques & methodologies, such as CBT, DBT, MI, TF-CBT, & other methods for counseling, therapy, which has enabled me to help my clients heal and cope with their trauma or other mental health issues. I am passionate about empowering my clients to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals, and I am committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care.
