Worked with Indigenous communities on: Community Development, Land Use, Housing and Strategic Planning, including: management including client communications, budget tracking and invoicing:• Supporting junior team members and providing mentorship• Designing and facilitating community engagement with various partners within complex and culturally sensitive professional planning processes• Writing and designing creative and user-friendly communication tools, maps, and reports• Completing requests for proposals or funding applications as needed• Supporting BC Housing Development Consultant processes• Supporting other disciplines within DNA on Feasibility Studies and project reporting.

Ministry of Housing and Homelessness:• directed and oversaw the work of a team of 13 housing professionals who: o operated a range of housing and homeless support programs; and, o project managed the construction and operation of housing across the housing continuum, as well as the construction of social infrastructure (e.g. cultural gathering space, office space, health and education facilities).• worked with and advised MNBC elected officials, including close working relationships with the Minister of Housing and Homelessness, and Minister of Education and others.• managed a yearly Ministerial operating budget of approximately $31.0 million (FY23-24), including managing the financial integrity and accountability of the budget.• supported and participated in Strategic Planning and Operational planning initiatives.• created and implemented MNBC’s first Critical Social Infrastructure and Facilities Master Plan which will guide MNBC’s Housing and Social Infrastructure development that includes but is not limited to: Housing across the Housing Continuum, Childcare, Cultural Gathering Space, administrative office space and others.• prepared housing capital funding applications to BC Housing and CMHC in the amount of approximately $100 million, plus related operational funding agreements.• Operation and on-going evaluation of Housing and Homeless Support programs, such as Ma Nîķi Home Renovation Program for Seniors, Rent Supplement, Reaching Home and Tenant Advocacy programs.• acquired and operationalized MNBC’s first Rental Housing project and 2nd stage housing project.• worked with local Municipalities to obtain Development Approval for approximately 18-20 housing and social infrastructure projects across the province.

managed all activities related to the development of housing and infrastructure related projects within MNBC's - Ministry of Housing and Homelessness, including:• Developing project goals in consultation with the Senior Director• Leading in project planning sessions and meetings• Coordinating and collaborating with other MNBC ministries• Preparing project work plans, including: procedures, proposals, briefing notes, progress reports and presentations• Monitoring progress towards achievement and adjusting or adapting plans to ensure project deadlines are met• Managing the hiring, support and supervision of staff within the Ministry of Housing and Homelessness • Managing the financial integrity and accountability of programs, monitor expenditures within existing budgets and guidelines
