Mr. Cureton has over 48 years of successful programmatic and technical leadership in the aerospace, commercial and government sectors. He currently works at the University of Southern California (USC) in the Systems Architecting & Engineering program. Mr. Cureton serves as the Chair Emeritus of the Network-Centric Operations Industry Consortium NCOIC Technical Council, Systems Engineering and Integration Functional Team, Distance Education Working Group, and Knowledge Management Working Group.Prior assignments include:• Senior Systems Engineer for Boeing Defense, Space, and Security Systems, including Phantom Works support for new business opportunities (Get To Blue) and engineering process improvements.• Management of the Information Architecture approach to Boeing Strategic Architecture, including systems engineering, integration & test, and modeling & simulation for application of a common interoperable, network-centric architectural framework across all Boeing programs.• Leadership of the systems architecture, systems engineering, design, production, integration, and test of navigation payload systems and software for the next-generation of Global Positioning Satellites, the GPS Block IIF.• Conversion of aerospace and defense systems for commercial applications, with special emphasis on analysis and design of computer hardware, software, and data/voice communication systems.• Design and analysis of various digital avionics systems, components, and software for various manned and unmanned space flight systems.His commercial and government background is primarily in the design, development, and operation of highly efficient, low-cost computer systems, software, and data networks.Specialties: Fault-tolerant computer systems (hardware and software), net-centric or net-enabled systems, union accounting systems, Cloud Computing
