Responsible for coordinating the Administration’s legislative policy agenda, furthering gubernatorial priorities, and acting as the primary liaison between the Governor’s Office and the Vermont Legislature. While working with each Agency and Department, particular immersion in executing the Governor’s cradle to career education vision, working on childcare, PK – 12, post-secondary education, and workforce policy alignment. Chairing the Governor’s universal afterschool effort, which is committed to providing every Vermont youth with access to an engaging afterschool opportunity by 2025, nearly $10 million has been deployed over the past year.

As this new initiative entered the public domain, assisted with the management of the Board of Directors and research consultants to develop a strategic plan for long term economic growth and sustainability. Assisted with identifying desired outcomes, indicators, and key performance measures expressed through an economic dashboard. Began developing relationships with potential partner organizations, businesses, and donors to advance the VFP mission and goals.

Coordinate member engagement on legislative issues and lobby the Vermont Legislature on behalf of the Chamber’s membership to further policies that address the needs of Vermont's employers, with a focus on telecommunications, economic development, education, labor and fiscal policy.

Fundraised $500,000 in 12 weeks for the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show through direct asks. Managed annual giving, sponsorship logistics and supported the Director of Sponsor Relations in development and promotional activities.

Responsible for recommending to the Governor appointees to Louisiana’s 476 boards and commissions. Conduct analysis of qualified candidates, screen applicants as appointments become available, conductinterviews as needed, and make recommendations based on findings. Coordinate with the Louisiana Senate to confirm individuals to boards and conduct legal research to remain in statutory compliance. Supervised one direct report.

Fundraised for candidate Governor Bobby Jindal in the 2011 Louisiana gubernatorial race. Built donor relationships, tracked contributions and campaign expenses, managed six finance interns, prepared State finance reports, and completed projects as assigned. Staffed the Governor at fundraising and campaign events.

Fundraised for candidate Brian Dubie in 2010 Vermont gubernatorial race. Created and executed a $1.6 million finance plan. Recruited over 5,500 donors in nine months and set political fundraising record for the state of Vermont.
