Backline is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources—streamlining access to a network of trusted organizations and care providers that understand this line of work. In bringing this vision to life, I was able to:>> Lead music industry relations and manage mental health/wellness partnerships, including collaborations w/ NYC Mayor's Office, Black Mental Health Alliance, MTV, Sony, Grateful Dead, Spiritual Gangster, + 30 more>> Manage all outgoing content and communications to ensure brand consistency and clinical responsibility (website, socials, newsletters, press releases, etc.)>> Spearhead Support Group and Wellness programs, providing free access to clinician-led groups, and exclusive offers on free wellness apps and discounted products for the music industry (including Four Sigmatic, Imperfect Foods, Wanderlust, Breathwrk, Life-Force Academy, Open, & more)>> Co-produce livestream fundraiser, Set Break, via The Relix Channel on Twitch, featuring 55 performances from artists like Alanis Morrisette, Leon Bridges, Bob Weir, Black Pumas, Michael Franti, Sara Bareilles, and Wyclef; 40 PSAs; and generating 1.8M views.

Live For Live Music (L4LM) is a premier music media, marketing, and production company. During my time there, I started as a writer and was promoted to Editor-in-Chief and eventually Vice President of the company. My responsibilities included:>> Managing all editorial content, including news, features, and paid marketing (1.5M/mo. views)>> Developing and implementing SOPs to manage workflow between editorial, marketing, and booking departments>> Spearheading all ad tech digitization strategies with direct and third-party sellers, as well as conceptualizing and introducing the daily newsletter (an additional revenue source)>> Strategizing content/publishing around SEO best practices and Google Analytics>> Managing 100+ contributor database of writers, photographers, and videographers to coordinate national concert/festival coverage>> Personally published over 2,500 features and news articles, including one-on-one interviews with Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), Jimmy Herring (Widespread Panic), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers, Dead & Company), Pretty Lights, Vulfpeck, Tank from Tank and the Bangas, and so many more.>> Produced L4LM festivals (Brooklyn Comes Alive, Fool's Paradise, NOLA Crawfish)

I launched Mempho Music Festival with a small group of independents, bringing in talents like Post Malone, Beck, Nas, Cage The Elephant, Anderson .Paak, Jason Isbell, Janelle Monae, Mac DeMarco, and so many more in just the first two years.
