I am an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. I am also studying Human Development and Family Sciences as a minor. I currently serve as a Career Development Intern at the UGA Career Center. My duties include assisting with drop-in appointments for students to review their resumes, personal statements, and answer any general career questions. I also present to various classes and organizations on campus on the Career Center’s multitude of resources. I am passionate about educating and helping university students to connect with various campus resources. I have various experience working in childcare settings. I have worked as a nanny for 5+ years and watched children ages 6 months to 13 years. I have also previously served as a lead camp counselor and partook in a mentorship with a local elementary student. I am intended to study my Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Health and eventually work in medical social work. My primary population of interest is children and families, specifically children and families affected by health insecurities. I want to broaden my research in social determinants of health and implementing public policies for early childhood development.
