- Debugged and tested routing solutions in the lab for the Canadian Military that used IPv4 and other proprietary protocols- All firmware routing solutions were tested against the stakeholder requirements captured in Rational DOORS.- Wrote and debugged Linux scripts that were used to control the connectivity to the Communication Selector Box (CSB). As network devices plugged in and/or were removed these scripts would start and stop services as required.- Delivered close out documentation to stakeholders at completion of each project and updated project repositories- Wrote a console application to build project schedules based on staff count and duration of development cycles; 2, 3, and 6 months- Debugged flash loader program that was used to program Network Access Units. A new PCMCIA modem that was introduced by customer did not work. Solution involved reading and writing new values to the windows registry.- Made a trip to Bucharest with a Field Service Representative (FSR) to debug a Bowman Network Access Unit (BNAU). Used the console to debug the unit and discovered that the wrong firmware had been flashed on one of the multiple cards in the unit. Fixed 12 units in the field and upon returning home ensured that the manufacturing process would catch future mistakes.- Instructed 15 students on the project quality and time management chapters of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 3rd edition.

- Led team of 25 people, full time and contract- Project scope was to reduce the footprint of the existing British Army embedded communication system that was developed under the Bowman Program, project value $30 Million- Built an embedded communication system, for real-time delivery of battlefield information, for the British Army.- Directly involved with: Resource management, schedule management, earned value reporting, measurement planning and reporting, quality management, and risk management- Set goals and established priorities for the team leads- Inter group involvement with Project Engineering, System Integration, Project Management Office, finance, Human Resources, and the Engineering Process Group (EPG)- Generated monthly internal progress reviews and monthly variance analysis for the finance department- Worked closely with the Project Management Coordinator (PMC) to ensure that timely reporting of tasks was available to the Project Manager

- Developed in C/C++- ported the reusable code from the Athene program to the newer MPC860P processor- Sourced the development tools for the team as well as the new Vision ICE II debugger suite- Integrated the Bignum library to support RSA encryption- Lead a team of 5 engineers and 1 tester to build the embedded router portion of the project- Made extensive use of Galorath's product, SEER, to estimate the effort for the team so that development cycles could be planned- Assisted team in debugging many special routing scenarios that were not know and contract award time- Product was delivered on time and schedule

- Project integrated 10 Mbps Ethernet into the legacy Canadian system- Sourced the development suite for the team. Precise MQX (RTOS) and RTCS Suite- Developed C/C++ code and made use of DiabData compiler, EST Vision ICE JTAG emulator, and the VisionClick Debugger- Wrote the Ethernet code for the MPC860T PowerQUICC Fast Ethernet Controller (FEC)- Modeled all software with the UML for the dual processor system- Documented and tested numerous modules in the system- Promoted to lead and completed the delivery of product to customer 3 months ahead of schedule.
