This position was part of a work study program for the Office of Admissions. The responsibilities included learning about the university, academic programs and campus life in order to better address students' questions during phone calls.

This position took place during the Spring semester across two years. Through the Office of Admissions, prospective students that visited campus for overnight stays roomed with a student such as myself. The responsibilities included guiding students around campus, escorting them to classes which they attended and including them in day-to-day college routines.

This work-study position was with the Office of Student Financial Services at the University of Mount Union. My specific duties were to receive in-coming phone calls and direct walk-ins or appointments to the right representative while the full-time receptionist was at lunch or busy. In addition, I packaged letters and financial aid statements to be sent to prospective and current students alike. I was required to keep student financial information confidential and abide by FERPA regulations with all documents that I handled.
