I am highly motivated, competitive and hard working Assistant Rowing Coach at Duke University. After graduating with a bachelor's in Civil Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I was recruited to train for the US Women's National Rowing team in Princeton, NJ to chase Olympic dreams. While training full time, I continued gaining experience in engineering by assisting Professor of Princeton University and earning Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Most recently I was hired, with rowing experience, to Duke University and relocated to Durham, NC.My experience in coaching has sharpened my skills at managing people, planning logistics and driving success within a team. Additionally, my education and part time work in engineering has provided knowledge of structural design, construction processes and project management.
